NO LIMITS – help & support for volunteer youth leaders
Starting in autumn 2008 and running into the spring of 2009, a new locally delivered youth leader support session is available for deaneries, parishes and clusters of churches in the Diocese of Portsmouth.
The NO LIMITS session is only two hours long and will cover the following areas:
- What is youth work and youth ministry?
- Different ways of working with young people.
- How do I meet the needs of young people?
- What skills do I need? What are the basics?
- What resources are there?
- A surgery time for any questions
All of that in 2 hours – not bad! What’s more NO LIMITS is FREE – breaking away from previous diocesan youth training which was at a cost to individuals and churches. We simply come to you and do the stuff. Our aim is to enhance the work you do with young people on your turf. SIMPLE!
