Not all young people find the time these days to read the Bible every day. Their lives are so busy with school work, clubs and just hanging out with their friends that some things just don’t take a priority. However, there are increasing number of young people who are hooked up to the internet and permanently tuned in to their mp3 players and iPods. Here’s a great online resource for getting your young people into daily devotionals with God.
The Church of the Good Shepherd (COGS), Crookhorn now produces Aftershock!!! They say:“…each week you will find five new devotionals (devs) for young people in audio format here at aftershock.org.uk. You will always find the most recent audio devotionals at the top of the list on the right of this page.”

It is an excellent resource and a creative way of engaging young people with daily bible readings. It’s all locally produced by volunteer youth workers from COGS who meet with young people throughout the week.
