Theological Application… Thanks

doremiA while back i posted a video of more than 200 dancers performing their version of “Do Re Mi”, in the Central Station of Antwerp. It’s uplifting to say the least… you can see the original post here. Anyway I threw out a challenge for a theological application – perhaps as an attempt to justify posting it… well i have had a couple back!

How about the idea that we as followers of Christ are doing a dance that a lot of people ‘out there’ are interested in, or may even already know the basic steps of without realising it’s the ‘Christ’ dance. All they need is to see someone doing the dance to have the courage to step forward and try the steps out for themselves. As we get more and more confident about doing the ‘Christ’ dance more and more people will recognise it as something that they already know and want to join in with us.

Bit of Missio Dei/Spirit at work outside the church kind of thinking.

Theological application…?

Isn’t this the perfect picture of what the church ought to be about? Being out there in the world doing stuff which makes other people say ‘I want to be a part of that!’

Brilliant

Other suggestions are most welcome
