Messy Extreme Craft Evening!
Come and try out enamelling and soap-making with a view to borrowing the kits for your Messy Church, Youth Group, Social Evening or Uniformed Organisation – or just come along for fun and to make some Christmas presents! Tuesday November 24th 8.00 at Peninsular House. There will be a small charge for items made to cover materials – around £1 per item – but the evening is otherwise free. This event will be hosted by Ben Mizen (Diocesan Youth & Children’s Work Adviser) and Lucy Moore (the first lady of Messy Church).

Borrow Extreme Craft Kits!
Enamelling Kit – Contains everything you need to make beautiful enamelled copper jewellery or keyring fobs – fun for everyone from young children with supervision through to teenagers and adults. Apparently risky enough to give boys a feeling of bravado. Kit includes kiln, enamels, copper shapes, tools, rings leather thongs and keyrings for finishing, costs just £10 a week to hire – use as many times as you want in that week – plus 95p per item. Could be used as a fundraiser or just for fun at Messy Church, youth group, Cafe Church, Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies or social evening. Safe and easy – even I can do it without damaging myself or anyone else.
Soapmaking Kit contains everything (except microwave) for making coloured, scented, glittery or flower-filled soaps in fun shapes. Very simple and satisfying craft for all ages. Cost again £10 per week plus a small amount for materials used.
The kits each fit into a small flight case – heavy but easily transported. – To borrow either of these kits, contact Lucy Moore on lucy.moore@brf.org.uk
